Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR)

The Government's Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) regulations came into force on 1st April 2019. The SECR was designed to replace:

  • Greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting by quoted companies
  • The reporting component of the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme

Mandatory compliance with the SECR is required by two groups:

  • All UK quoted companies
  • All large unquoted companies and large LLPs registered in the UK

For each group there are different requirements under the SECR as well as some commonality.

Xcarbon specialises in the SECR. If you would like to discuss SECR compliance and reporting or how your organisation can best reduce its SECR costs then please call us on +44 (0) 845 475 2102.
